Welcome to another Seize the Birthday Challenge!
Vicki is our hostess and wants to see stripes on our birthday card!
I have two cards to share with you today:
Awhile back I had a play date with my BFF and I used her new Pinkfresh stamp, stencil and die called Infinite Blooms. I had fun using a variety of colors. For this card I pulled out a pattern pack from PTI and used the pink ombre stripes from my background. The sentiment is from The Greetery.
This card I used a Bold Stripes stencil from Scrapbook.com with gray ink.
I still have a couple more of these flowers all colored up, coloring with stencils is a pretty quick and easy way to put together cards.
Our Party Guest is: Jenny Martin, you can find her HERE, please welcome her and check out all the awesome stripes from the design team!

Heart Hugs, friends!

Wow! you over achiever you! I love them both. Great way to make just part of the strips bolder on the first card, but that second card is amazing. Loving the bold stripes!
ReplyDeleteThese flowers look painted, Col! Stencils have come a long way! Both sprays are gorgeous and I love the perky pink stripes, but also the more serene gray stripes with the blue flowers! Both are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLove both of your cards. The pink ombre stripes make a great background for your lovely bouquet. Love your coloring on both bouquets and the bold strips for the background on the second one.
ReplyDeleteThese are both so lovely! Love the bright & cheerful colours and the fabulous striped backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteThese are both so pretty, Colleen. Pinkfresh really has great stamps and matching stencils. The coloring is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThick or thin both are awesome striped cards!
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards! I agree, stencilling may be my new favourite way to colour flowers, lol. Love the stencilled strips on the second card, too.
ReplyDeleteI adore stenciling too, Colleen! And how fun you got to use Linda's goodies too! Both your cards are as lovely as can be! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are lovely, such different looks! Love both striped backgrounds too, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteI love the bold grey stripes and your beautiful bouquet!
ReplyDeleteFun to see how different the bouquet looks depending on the colors! The stripes are a great background--need to remember that!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful, Colleen! It's amazing to see how different the cards could look with the change of color combos!
ReplyDeleteThey’re both fabulous, Colleen! I think my fave is the second one with the big bold stripes.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards! I love both of them - and the difference in stripes as well - they look awesome whether they are narrow or wide, bold or subtle - so very well showcased in your cards! Love it!
