Twofer Card Challenge ~ September ~ Leaves

Hi Friends, I needed to play along with the September TWOFER Challenge because I just love leaves and that is the cue word for this month!  I didn't do anything creative with my leaves, just kept them as leaves (lol).
The stitched pierced frames from PTI was finally back in stock and boy did I jump on that and ordered itas soon as I got the notice!  I am playing with PTI Leaf Prints here, the first card is more of a fall/autumn even a thanksgiving kind of card.
My second card is a thank you card and I pulled out PTI Modern & Marbeled because I wanted to add some gold gilding flakes to the card because so many of the colors of the leaves that pop out this time of the year is full of gold and yellows and oranges, I just love all the colors of the leaves.
I used a Nuvo Glue pen to add the gilding flakes.  I even added some Nuvo pale gold drops on the card.  The sentiment was die cut twice, once in green and once in white with the Nuvo gilding flakes on the word after it was die cut.
Heart Hugs, friends!

I'm so glad you felt well enough to play with your beloved leaves and NBUS frame die, Col! You've made two really gorgeous designs! I want you to take back what you said! What? You said you didn't do anything creative with your leaves and that's just NOT true! These two designs are very creative and there's nothing prettier than colored leaves in the fall, just as you've captured them! I love the addition of all the shcparkly gold on your thank you card!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #9! Take care! Hugs, Darnell

Two beautiful cards. Love all those autumnal colours, and also really love that hexagon background on the thank you card - I must remember to use my hexagon dies for things like that.

You may have "...kept them as leaves..." but you've created two beautiful cards with them! The colors remind me so much of the colors that will inundate our countryside in a few weeks, and I love that! (they're just starting to turn here in WI) The gold gilding looks amazing and I love how it makes the leaves seem richer in color. Two great cards! Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Both beauties, Colleen. Can't tell you how often I've used the Pierced Rectangle frames. Love that set. It frames your leaves so elegantly. And so does the gold hexagon shape on the other card. Fortunate we didn't have to use the leaves differently, only for different occasions. We both lucked out there!

Both cards are gorgeous! I don't have this leaf set, but just put it on my wish list. I've used the Pierced Rectangle Frames several times and love the way it looks on a card...such a beautiful frame for your pretty leaves.

Such gorgeous leaves, Colleen! Your stamping makes them look so real on your blessings card, especially with the added "dew drops"! That had to be fun playing with your gilding flakes and I love the double stamping of the sentiment! So wonderful to see you playing along with us at the Twofer Card Challenge! I keep praying for your knee!
