MIM # 322 Above & Below

Well I guess my card doesn't get posted just because I 'think' I posted it!  LOL
I am playing at Papertrey Ink with the Above & Below Make it Monday by Lizzie.
You should have seen my desk while making this card...I kept pulling out one stamp set after another, stamping and cutting and nothing was coming together for me.  Do you ever have one of those days?  After cutting several different images from different stamp sets, I finally put them all away, stepped back and tried again.  This time I was thinking of the hibiscus flower and sweet little hummers that are now flitting around my yard and coming to the feeder.
I do like how this came together and I used fun leaf shapes too!
PTI:  Some like it Hot (flowers)
PTI: Tropics (leaves and sentiment)
PTI: Humming Along (hummingbird)

Heart Hugs, friends!

Totally hear ya about a card just not coming together as that's how I felt about this challenge too! Oh well, all's well that ends well!! I'm enjoying the real life hummers at my feeder right now too...SO fun to watch!! :0)

  9. Beautiful design and I love those hummingbirds, both on the card and on the desk. Sometimes it's wise to walk away when nothing works. You come back with a fresh perspective, just like you did here.
