May TWOFER Challenge #5 ~ Butterflies

The conundrum is which butterfly set to use?  I may have one or two or many more!
However there was a piece of paper laying on my desk that had Mama Elephants Butterfly Kisses stamp set printed on it.  And I thought I could use that one!
Here is a closer look at each one and a little story for the bride and groom.

When my older daughter got married, we released butterflies at her reception.  It was beautiful to see all those gorgeous butterflies fly off to land on one of the many flowers blooming on the golf course.
I was thinking of her saying to me in about a month, "Mom, do you have an anniversary card I can take?"  So I stamped the bride and groom and decided to add a border of butterflies to signify that momentous day for her!
And she danced with her Dad to the song: Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle and when I saw this sentiment I thought it made a perfect birthday card and of course I highlighted the single butterfly!
I am entering these cards in the May TWOFER Challenge #5 where the code word is "butterfly"
Serendipity stamps:  Wedded Bliss
Mama Elephant:  Butterfly Kisses

Heart Hugs, friends!

I can just picture those butterflies at your daughter's wedding reception; how romantic! I love the card you made with that in mind, and the sweet story, too. Beautiful image of the bride and groom, sweet sentiment, and those butterflies are amazing. Darling birthday card, too! Perfectly colored, perfectly framed, and what a great sentiment. And those sequins are amazing!! Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev

You have me all misty-eyed, Col! What beautiful designs you've created for your cards using the same butterfly and what sweet stories you've shared! Thank you for that! That must have been so moving to see those butterflies released at the reception and I just love the image and the sediment, "I still do!" I also love the butterfly kisses sediment and design for your birthday card! Little ones just love the feel of being kissed by eyelashes!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #5 and Happy Mother's Day!! Hugs, Darnell

Oh Colleen, what a beautiful story of your daughters wedding. That sounds so romantic and sweet with the butterflies. I think these cards capture that so well and I love the "I still do" sentiment. Two great cards for the challenge. Our 51st anniversary would be tomorrow and I will go visit and spend time with Bill.

Wow, Colleen, I LOVE how you tailored your card specifically for your daughter! Of course I know she has one of the most thoughtful moms on the planet! What a beautiful way to celebrate that memory! And just as personal, with your birthday card with butterfly kisses! I love the die cutting that frames your butterfly perfectly! I miss you too, dear friend! Your butterfly cards are BEAUTIFUL, Colleen!! Love that gorgeous butterfly used as a single with the debossed, shaped frame --- so pretty! And then again with the bride and groom as a border. Love how you've coloured the butterflies but left everything else black and white. Really brings the focus to the butterflies. And what lovely stories to go along with the cards. Those special moments have inspired two amazing designs. Thanks for playing with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx
