Sieze the Birthday ~ birthday balloons

Welcome to another Seize the Birthday Challenge!!
We have a topping this time and it is to have a balloon on your birthday card!!

I die cut a balloon and used the negative to sponge on my colors for all the balloons.  I used distress oxide inks for the sponging.
The die is from Birthday Cheer
and the rest of the sentiment was stamped from Ways to Say: Birthday

Heart Hugs, friends!

I love how you used your die cut balloon as a stencil and sponged with DOX inks. So colorful and fun. TFS Colleen. Hugs

This is fabulous. I can't tell you how many times I have tried this technique, only for it to end up in the bin, but you nailed it. Love the transparency feel of your balloons.

I agree with "Keep It Sweet and Simple" 's comment... you nailed it. I have tried this technique so often and failed. Maybe it is the Distress Oxide inks... this just fabulous!

Using your own stencil to sponge on the balloons really made it easy to look like you spent a lot of time coloring. Fantastic.

Such a FABulous card Colleen! You have used the perfect tones of colors over lapping one another! It's so great to be back in the groove! Thanks for your kindness these past few weeks!
