Water colored cards

I saw a video by Laurel Beard using the Zigs Clean Color Real Brush Markers and had to give it a try.  It was stunning and amazing!  And I love how mine turned out too!
I used WPlus9 Beautiful Bouquet: Mums and simply scribbled on some color in random places and then spritzed it with water.  Really, what could be easier...and I love the colors!  You do have to be a bit careful with the colors you use because you could get 'mud' if the wrong ones blended together!
This card is for a neighbor who is turning 60 and we are invited to an open house!
This is the same stamp set, different colors. And this is a BIG square, it will be hand delivered to my father, I think I will still make an envelope for the card though!
My father used to raise chrysanthemums and belonged to the Seattle Chrysanthemum Society.  My mom even made flower arrangements with them and entered them in their flower shows.  My father won the whole show one time with a huge show stopper and my mom won many ribbons for her flower arrangements. I thought this would bring back some memories and he would enjoy the card.
Go watch Laurel's video and then give it a try, seriously I am going to to do this for several other of the Beautiful Bouquets from WPlus9 that I have! It is so fun to see how each one turns out differently when applying different colors of the brushes and how much water your spritz onto the card too!

We have a rainy day, so I think I get to play some more!
Have a great weekend friends!

Heart Hugs, friends!

Wow! These are gorgeous and what a wonderful card for your Dad! Thanks for the link to the video. I need to watch it because I always end up with a big blob of dark color where I apply the Zig. Maybe I can learn the trick!

Beautiful watercolored cards, Colleen. TFS video too. Did you heat emboss your flowers before scribbling with your Zigs and spritzing with water? TFS Hugs..
