MIM #283 Watercolor Wash Backgrounds & CAS May Mix Up Card challenge

Hi friends, it seems forever since I have played in challenges and had time to visit a few of you!
I am sorry that life is getting in the way of my playing!  I was watching my next door grandchildren for a week while their parents were in Cabo...ha ha my blood pressure was a bit high that week!  *wink*  Glad they are home now!  And the kiddos were really great, just not used to the pressure of getting up early, making lunches and breakfasts for two of the three and driving all three to three different schools at three different times!  PHEW glad things are back to normal and I can have some fun!
So I started out this morning playing along with PTI and their latest Make it Monday where Laurie does a watercolor wash background.  I used the Bold Blossom flowers and made my card.  I had fun with this and would like to make a few more...and I think I will try her full card wash with embossing a background!  Go check out the video, it is Laurie's first one for PTI and she did a great job!
I am editing this to add it to the May CAS Mix Up Card challenge
because Loll told me to!!  * wink *

I have stamping, splattering and embossing!!
Thanks Loll for the hint...sometimes I am on a one tracked mindset!
Heart Hugs, friends!

I watched her video and she did do a great job. I want to try that technique too. Your card is so pretty with the wash and splatters. It wore me out just reading about your week with the grands! That's a lot when we are not used to that routine. Glad things are back to normal.

So pretty Colleen. Your pretty flowers pop off the watercoloured background. Love those splatters in the top left corner. We would love you to share this card at CAS Mix Up where the challenge for May is Splattering. xx

Aw, we need a bright, cheery spring bouquet like your card features in Oregon! I'm experiencing thunderstorms after yesterday's wonderful warmth!
