PTI Make It Monday # 265

Lizzie is up with a video HERE demonstrating Layered Dry Brushing for the background.
I used Pale Peony and Soft Stone Reinkers with Adirondack Acrylic paint "pearl" because that was the only acrylic paint I had!  It does give it a very nice shine.
My flowers are from Floral Sketches.
This is a special birthday card for my Aunt who will be 93 on Saturday and it needs to go into the mail as she lives in Seattle!  I knew I wanted to make her a special card and was happy this came together using this new technique from Lizzie for the Make It Monday.
I did like Lizzie and sponged on my two colors and then die cut the word 'birthday'.

Thanks for stopping by friends!

Heart Hugs, friends!

I love the "linen" look of the technique and will probably be trying it out. Your card has inspired me, and I am sure that your aunt will love it too. A special birthday that needs a special card.
