Make It Monday with Melissa

Did you see Melissa's video up at the MIM?  Cool watercolor technique that is a little different and easier to handle those watercolor marks!  I pulled out the Peonies on Parade watercolor paper and went to town!!  I used lovely lady and raspberry fizz for the colors on my peonies.  I used green parakeet, fancy flourishes and a sentiment from Happy Hydrangea!

I am doing this all on my tablet and it is NOT easy, did my watermark (miracle in itself) then couldn't find it, finally found it but couldn't figure out how to move it so I could use it!
Oh, well, at least the picture is up!
I am in Seattle visiting my BFF Linda!!  Yeah!!
And on Thursday we are going into downtown Seattle and have lunch with Nancy Leppek who is my Seize the Birthday manager extraordinaire!  She and her husband are coming into Seattle to see her son who moved here after graduating from SCAD, he works at Amazon now.
I am soooo excited to meet her in person!!

Heart Hugs, friends!

This is over the top pretty!! I love the soft shading you achieved!

I tried this technique last night and ran into a strange problem... When I inked my image on water color paper with Memento Ink it lifted when I sponged! I have never had that before : ( I am waiting for it to dry over night before I attempt it again. Sigh aah the challenges in a paper crafter's life! giggles!
