MIM # 243 Ink Blending over heat Embossing

Danielle has a video up showcasing her Ink Blending over heat Embossing Technique.
Go check it out, she has a beautiful card!
I used the same Text Style II that she used and after heat embossing it, I sponged on some Bright Buttercup Ink.
The flowers are Vintage Linens stamped in Winter Wisteria, then sponged on a darker shade of royal velvet.  The stems and leaves were also a two step process with first stamp of spring moss, then a darker shade of pinefeather sponged onto the stamp. (A technique that  Betsy showed a couple of weeks back!)
I ended with a sentiment for Keep it Simple: Prayer for You
I really like this technique...mostly white space, but it adds a lot of dimension and some texture to the card.  My card is actually the PTI fine linen adhered to a Winter Wisteria base.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
Have a great day!
Heart Hugs!!

The texture of the linen cardstock comes through your flowers beautifully, Colleen. A very pretty effect on this lovely card.

Colleen, this is so pretty using those flowers from Vintage Linens. I need to pull mine out and give it some love. It's been hiding for way to long. It makes me happy when I have the sets to re-create a card that inspires me.

This is so pretty. I love the inking over the embossing, it is so soft and subtle. It is time for purple flowers to bloom here in Indy. And every color as well.
