MIM # 212 Fussy Cutting

Ashley has a video up at PTI blog showing how she fussy cuts around words that do not have dies!
I stamped and fussy cut just like she showed...I used the word from Life is Beautiful.
I masked off the card face and then used some distress inks for the background.
The small Beautiful Butterflies were inked up with Versafine black ink.

the inside of the card.

Fun technique!  I will try it again!
Have a great week!

Stunning! Cannot believe you cut that sentiment by hand, I have my doubts, but that awesome sponged background really is the star of your card.

I love the distressed look with those soft colors. You did a great job of fussy cutting especially around all those curvy little edges. The inside is so cute.

I'm in awe of your color blending & fussy cutting! Definitely will case your card; it is so lovely. I made a birthday card last week with your sentiment set from Life Is Beautiful.

Colleen, your card is beautiful. I love the placement of your fussy cut "Beautiful" and the little sequins, too. That versafine black ink is so intense, it really looks lovely on this card. Thanks for the inspiration and visiting my blog.

Beautiful card, Colleen! The fussy-cut word is perfect with your butterflies in flight. Your blocked inking makes the perfect backdrop.
