Another DIY Notebook

The hardest part of making these little notebooks is cutting all the paper!!
This time I decided to try some colored computer paper that I had on a shelf..
I wanted to see how it would hold up.
My cover is still PTI white, the back is still chipboard and the striped paper is from Tropical Teal pattern pack.
I added a few more sheets of the computer inside paper just because it was thinner and took up less volume, because of the added paper I did NOT stamp on the inside sheets like I did the on the first ones I made.  Still pretty cute, huh?
Oh, and it still holds the paper just fine!
I used PTI Scrapbook Ledger and Happy Trails for the pencils and sentiment.
I embossed the sentiment and pencil with zing embossing powder...aqua and brown.
the pattern paper was cut with an EK success postage stamp die.
If you haven't already tried out this technique, head over to Capture the Moment
and watch the video presented by Erin...pretty easy peasy!
Have a great day!

Another cute one Colleen. Definitely have to try the thinner copy paper...my first ones stayed in just fine, but the cardstock towards the back of the notebook wants to fall out. I'm thinking you're on the right track using lighter weight paper to make sure they all stick. :0)

Oh such a cute cover on this notebook, Colleen.
PS: I used some colored lightweight paper as well (just because I have had it for years and didn't really want to use up my cardstock :)
