Festive Friday ~ an Element Challenge! Candy Canes!!

Another fun challenge over at the Festive Friday blog...this time it is all about the candy canes!!
I pulled out my Friendship Jar:  Holiday fillers for the candy canes.  I embossed with white embossing powder onto white paper.  Then I took a red memento marker and colored in the stripes.  I cut around the canes so they would hang off the page.  I added some hibiscus burst paper to each side and a bow from Bells and Boughs, stamped in red ink.  I then pulled out the Tiny Tags and also Tiny Treats: Christmas for the sentiment.  I stamped it at an angle to keep with the stripes of the candy canes.  I used the super stripes impression plate (Papertrey ink) and daubed on some sweet blush in the raised areas of the stripes.  Thanks for taking a look!
