Make It Monday # 117 ~ Paper Piecing and Cas-UAL Friday # 101

Melissa Phillips demonstrated her technique of paper piecing...her favorite technique of all time...So I tried my hand at it and if you would like to do so go HERE to Nicholes blog and watch the video and get inspired!
I paper pieced a lot of purple shades of pattern paper.  I stamped the 'violet' on all the colors of paper and then hand cut out the petals and glued them down.  I adhered the violet with dots from HERE  (Deanna Dean's blog Kloset Kreations) to a cardstock that I also cut out (haven't ordered the die for this set yet!).

I am going to enter this in the Cas-UAL Friday's Challenge also which is stamping on Designer Paper...you can access it HERE .

The stamps used are all from Year of Flowers:  Violet
The paper is all Papertrey
The card is fine linen

  7. Oh, this is SO beautiful! I was going to use this same stamp to play along with this challenge, but after seeing the wonderful card that you've created, I will do a different one. There's NO WAY mine would be as gorgeous as yours!
