Clean and Simple 2 Day 5 - 3

One Stamp Three Ways...this is the third way and it was demonstrated by Donna Mikasa...she used Rangers Distress inks for a beautiful background and heat embossed the same stamp.  So here it is...the With Sympathy stamp set I used versamark ink and embossed with white filigree powder, then I took the ink pads and swiped them across the paper...I believe I have seen Jennifer McGuire do that a lot!
This is more like her second card...one that is "stepped - up"  as I added punched butterflies like she did to her second card.  I mounted it on black paper as I felt it needed a little punch.  I like this card a lot...and now I am off to have some fun at a Junky Funk showing!!  I am sure I will be playing in the studio this weekend, so hopefully I will have more cards to post!  Have a super weekend everyone...hope you all can get caught up, I am fortunate in that I do not work and can keep up daily!

Lovely card and sentiment on this one, I smiled as soon as I read it. I'm lucky too, I don't work many hours and am able to keep up with at least one card a day. Enjoy the weekend. C x

This one is my favourite, probably because of the beautiful color combination and the white stamping. But the others are very lovely too! Hope you'll have a nice weekend, Colleen!
