Lift Challenge #17...a Holland Card Challenge! And another MIM # 67

My good friend, Jose, is one of the DT's for the Lift Challenge.  I have come to know a couple of the other girls also, Cornelie and Marjan who do beautiful work.  I saw this card on their Lift Challenge Blog...it was lifted from stamps and taxes blog, Julie Lacey's blog.  They all three did such wonderful cards based on this one, that I couldn't resist playing along.

So I pulled out some scraps and did some stitching, added a bow and a button and my sentiment is from Beautiful Butterflies...my frame is a die for the Simply Jane stamp set from PTI!
Edited:  someone suggested adding this to the MIM, so I will do that also...

Now that is a BIG surprise, you entering. How wonderful!
You did a fabulous job Colleen. The frame looks great as well as the colors. And look at that stitching. It's real neat.
Thanks for joining us :-)

PS my back is doing better. It's not pain all the time luckily. I will get an e-mail to you today or tomorrow.

Hugs

Beautiful cards! I like that you just stitched the top and bottom. I am going to try this on a future card. I always mess up at least one of the sides when I attempt sewing....maybe I need to start smaller...LOL!

Wow, going international now. Very pretty cards. I wondered if this was meant for MIM too. Great job.
