Cards using the new PTI anniversary stamp: Pretty Peonies

I just read Dawn McVey's blog where she used this stamp set on her cards and she mentioned die cutting them...and boy did the girls on the forum pick up on that and squeal with delight thinking some dies are coming for that stamp set...but it is not meant to be...and even Dawn said she would be in heaven if there were dies for that set...so for now it is hand cutting if you want them cut out...so I cased Dawn's card and did in fact do some hand cutting and it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be...one card I cut out both the flower and the label, the other card I stamped the flower and only cut out the label...I love the design for Dawn's card using a thin strip of paper at the bottom and also cutting the bottom using one of the edgers...

Well that is it from here...I am cleaning up the studio, and getting ready for a train ride to visit my BFF in the Seattle area...she will pick me up the Tukwilla station and we will go to some stamp stores close to the South Center, we may even hit the JoAnn's there, so I have my 50% off coupons ready to go.  And I get to stay for 6 days and we will come out to eat, but I bet we will just be in her studio playing with all of our PTI goodies!!
