MIM # 51...Dimensional Sentiment Banner

"Ever wonder just how to achieve the perfect balance between sentiment and focal piece? Nichole is here this week to show you how to create a beautiful dimensional sentiment banner. This technique will make your cards really stand out!"  Go HERE to watch the video and demonstration by Nichole....
I was thinking about this technique last night and lots of ideas were going through my mind...My first thought was to use the Wreath from "Wreath for All Seasons"  and put it on a door...then you know how the mind keeps working...well, then I thought back to a conversation I had with a friend...this friends daughter and little 7 month old granddaughter had spent the Christmas holidays with her because her son-in-law is deployed in Afghanistan...we talked and come to find out her son-in-law is scheduled to be returning home by the end of the home...Hallelujah....so then my thought process was to make a banner for a service person coming home...and to use STARS instead of a wreath!  Yes!  I am on a roll...I stamped a little star from the Love Lives Here:  Holiday; also used that little star die to hang some extra stars off the big star cut with PTI Seeing Stars die.  The Welcome Home sentiment is from Wreath for all Seasons!  Now I can give this card to my friend and she can send it off for her son-in-laws return home from serving his country!
